Hi. I'm gonna try out this blog thing. I think it's a waste of time but we'll see if any good comes of it. I am a 22 year old white dude from upstate NY. I like my cat. I am married 2 years and have just started my own landscaping business. I live in a small one bedroom apartment and enjoy gardening, cooking, and reading. I consider myself a neat and organized person who tries to keep up with my responsibilities to the best of my ability. I fail on a regular basis, but I know that I am a work in progress.
"This is the day that the Lord has made." "Be still and know God is." "Today is the day of salvation..." Today look for something in creation that points to Jesus that you have never noticed before. If you don't know what I mean, God loves us so much that he sent his only Son to carry our sin to the grave with Him by way of crucifixion on a cross so that, if we'll only ask, we will be freed from sin along with it's consequences and adopted into his family as his children with an inheritance of his kingdom in heaven. He then walks with us, accompanying our spirit, giving counsel and comfort on earth so that we can live with purpose and please God who appreciates great beauty and shares it with us through his creation all around us as far as the eye can see (no matter what telescope or microscope we use), of which we are the masterpiece, created in his image. The only thing in the way is our choice to chase our own desire rather than follow God's will.
